Khandesh Cancer Centre is a Cancer Hospital with an Institution of Research and Academy in Dhule, Maharashtra. It is the only cancer institute between the stretch of Surat, Gujarat and Mumbai, Maharashtra. Their primary audience is the low income group of the Khandesh demographic.
The objective was to create a visual identity for KCC. We at Roar Studios developed everything from Logo to Uniforms and Wall Graphics.
With the guidance of our Art Director, Rohan Nannavati at RoarStudios, I developed a visual illustrative language for the wall graphics — primarily, but later on was applied in various other design collaterals. The illustrations were inspired by the landscape of Khandesh — subtle and sometimes sudden transitions from flat land to hills. The purpose was for the patient and those related to have soothing visuals around. I also built a duo-lingual signage system for the Cancer Centre. We generated an extended colour palette. Each floor had a designated colour to guide the viewer around the hospital visually. The signages and wall graphic were infused with accents of the chosen colour.
